Blacktown by the sea

This a derogatory term used to represent the geographical area called the Central Coast, located between Sydney and Newcastle. The meaning of the term comes from the perceived demographic who lives there, a close cousin of the Westie who is known gernerally to populate Blacktown, a surburb of Sydney's west. These people could be described as working class, white Anglos with little class or ability for introspection: He/She has just moved to Blacktown by the sea.
